Looking for a hero...

I owe a huge apology to Bill Chisholm.  I left him off the list of candidates who will be at the CSI cafeteria today at 2:00 for a forum. I admire Bill for his  life of activism and his willingness to stand (most times alone) against the Republican machine during elections for these many years-and I know my readers here share the sentiment.

Sign, sign, everywhere a sign...

I have a task that all of you can help us with. Please send me the addresses of all the places you see that have political signs on them.  Let me know if the signs are Republican, Independent, or Democrat and the street address.  If you know the name of the property owner, include that, too please.  Voter identification is a huge boon to future candidates.

 

 

Thanks for the memory...

Thanks to LeRoy Hayes, Etha Carruthers, Linda Brugger, and Pat Marcantonio for making the drive with me to Pocatello last night to spend two hours making telephone calls to likely Democratic voters encouraging them to vote or vote early. Not everyone is happy to receive these calls-Carol Robertson, we are thinking of you, so be kind if you get one.

 

Wednesday night we are leaving campaign literature at doors.  If you can help, please let me know and show up at the Democratic office at 5:00.  Office address is 161 5th Street South across from Reds and Pandora's.  Regular office hours are 4-7 pm Tuesday through Friday and 1-4 on Saturday.  Verna Christensen is there during those hours, stop and say hi.

 

I have looked over the requests for early ballots and see many of our group have already voted or have ballots at home.  Thank you!!!  Those of you who haven't, please remember to get to the polls.
